PSG continues to negotiate with Leny Yoro despite being inferior to Real Madrid
Lille president confirm that he is allowing the 18-year-old defender to move freely in this transfer window because Yoro’s contract is set to expire in the middle of next year, which Lille do not want to lose for free.
In the past, both domestic and international media in France stated that Yoro very much wanted to work with Real Madrid, but there were still steps on the side of the French team waiting for Nacho Fernandez to decide his future clearly first.
Recently, UFABET revealed that Luis Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain trainer and the club’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, held private discussions with Yoro to persuade the player to join.
The discussions were consider to be progressing well, with PSG representatives confirming that they are ready to develop Yoro’s abilities to the utmost in order for the player to develop and advance to the French national team in the future.
However, French media revealed that Yoro’s attitude is still that he still wishes to move to the Santiago Bernabeu, who is now waiting for Real Madrid to seriously upgrade him in the future.
Moreover, Lille’s transfer price tag on the player is €50 million. And the question will be whether the La Liga team want to pay that amount for a player who could become a free agent next year.
If Real Madrid choose to use their leverage, they might get a favorable discount. But other teams like Liverpool and Manchester United might also attempt to convince the player to move to the Premier League.
